•• Goes mostly by "Dru". The only person who actually calls her Drusilla is her mother.
•• Is an only child.
•• Was born to a rock star, single mom. Dru's mom Sherri Fury, an out lesbian since she was in her early 20's, had Dru when she was 31 years of age. She was not in a relationship but she wanted a child. Thinking she was of sound enough mind to be a parent, she had Dru because of a long time friend Georgie. Georgie was the sperm donor for her and while he was never in the role of her father, he has been in and out of her life as "Uncle Georgie". She grew up in a single parent home, still is part of a single parent home, and has absolutely no gripe about it considering her mom is her best friend.
•• Was born in West Covina, California and spent most of her childhood in California state. She's lived in West Covina and North Hollywood, and though she vows one day to move back to California, she's adapted to East Coast life fairly sufficiently. Her mom moved out to Pennsylvania, West Chester specifically, when Dru was fourteen. Thinking it would be a better place to raise her teenage daughter, Dru was hesitant about the new location because she wasn't sure how the kids in the new area would be. She never really ~fit in~ living in either part of Los Angeles County that she did, and she developed kind of a 'mean streak' because of how cruel some of the kids could be. So when she started school in West Chester, she was really nervous but tried to put up a facade like she didn't give a shit.
•• Her first friend in West Chester was ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) lucyrd. To this day, Lucy is Dru's life line of sort. There's really nobody else who's as important, friend wise, to her.
•• When Lucy and Dru first started becoming friends, Dru waited to introduce her to her mom, not knowing how she'd react. A lot of people reacted in a strange way when meeting her mom back in California so she was kind of uneasy about that. To this day the introduction between Lucy and her mom Sherri was the funniest moment to Dru in her eighteen years of life. Bar none.
•• Has always had a sort of hard time in school. She's got a huge math deficiency where she just doesn't work well with numbers. She failed junior year last year because of poor grades and just over all skipping school.
•• Has a bit of a temper. One thing that provokes her the absolute most is homophobia. She's literally punched people out, girls and guys alike, for using derogatory words to describe homosexuals in her presence. The most vile word in the English language to her is 'dyke' to describe a lesbian. Being of bisexual persuasion herself, the first - and last - person to call her a dyke ended up with a broken nose and a stiletto heel in their gut. She doesn't tolerate closed mindedness or judgment.
•• She may come off kind of off center, not social or generally unpleasant. She can be unpleasant, she can be a bitch and she can come off like she's completely uninterested. For the most part though Dru's kind of quiet. She just feels like she doesn't fit in all too well. But she doesn't really try to fit in. People either like her or they don't, she doesn't care. She just won't compromise herself or her individuality just to fit in to a cookie cutter society.
•• Has a bit of a hard outer shell. She's a hard rocker, a shit talker, leather wearer, curser, snarky, quick witted, sarcastic, over all intelligent young lady. She won't hesitate to call someone out if they act like an asshole to her and she isn't afraid to stand up for herself, what she believes in, or her friends and family. She's a very loyal individual where it counts.
•• Doesn't really smile a lot. Why? It's undetermined. But Dru just... doesn't do it often. The only time she really is laughing, smiling and pretty care free is when she's around Lucy and people she's comfortable.
•• Has social anxiety. She hates being around a lot of people she doesn't know and you can tell when she's having an anxiety attack because she clams up completely. It's something she's been working on and her mom tries to help her with that.
•• Her mom suggested working at a summer camp in the summer of '10 to expose her to new people and to try to get her to enjoy a summer of just being outside, doing fun things, and things of that nature. Dru got kicked out for punching out one of the other volunteers and threatening to drown a couple of the campers. It didn't go very well.
•• She's really random when she wants to be. Like, really random. But she's also a very 'what you see is what you get' kind of personality.
•• Her favorite kind of music is rock music and music from the '80s, though she has a couple guilty pleasures here and there.
•• Isn't really "boy crazy", isn't really "girl crazy", really isn't into the whole "dating" thing. She's just fine running solo for the time being since guys, AND girls, are usually nothing but trouble once you get into a relationship. So she's seen over time.
